The Tama Abe Cunningham Signature 6"x14" snare drum 3.0mm Brass Shell with Big Vent Holes in is part of the 2019 Snares release in the Signature Series. Over the last couple of years Tama and Abe Cunningham has been tossing ideas back and forth with the hopes of developing a THUNDEROUS yet extremely dynamic and articulate snare drum that would be suitable in a variety of musical situations. The idea was to create a drum that would meld two of my favorite Snares together two drums that I have used for years one being a Tama Bell Brass and the other a vented Maple snare." Sized at 6"x14" this Snare is an 3mm Thick Brass Shell with Special Cosmetic Treatment by Grinder Machine, designed with 2" Diameter Big Vent Holes (x4) for Bright Attach with Articulate Tone and Brass Tune Lug, and Die-Cast Hoop (10 hole), with REMO Coated Ambassador & Snare Side and "Linear-Drive" Strainer & Butt (MLS50A / MLS50B).
