Loaded with just two Celestion G12T-75 speakers, the 1936 makes great sense if you want the classic Marshall sound and look, but have restricted space whether thats on stage or in your project studio. It pairs well with Marshalls smaller heads, like the DSL15 or DSL1H, and makes for a striking alternative to a 2 x 12 combo. The Celestion G12T-75 speakers have a slightly softened high-frequency response, so are great for higher gain, modern tones. The 1936 can be used in mono or stereo mode, without the need to switch.
